CMD and C = Copy CMD and X = Cut CMD and Y = Paste @ Direction-Arrow keys -- Down, Up, Right, Left = "Select" . . . The part of Text, To Be Copy'd @ The "Caps" (.Capital.) Letters used here, are Only to make them easyer To Read.. Just Press the keys, where shown in the Steps.. NO need to actually Use the Caps letters.. @ ALWAYS -- Press, and hold-down the CMD key . . . then Press and Release the Letter key.. --- KEEP the CMD key down -- Release the Letter key -- Then, Release the CMD key Last.. @---> Copy an EMAIL -- with-OUT addresses [..THEM multi-address multi-Forwards..] @ While on the email screen to be copy'd A-1 -- Hit the FIND key . . . uP-pOps, the Find Panel € In the FIND Box . . . Type the First Two or Three Words, of the Text to be Copy'd A-2 -- Hit the ENTER (.Return.) key € Those words, are now hi-lite'd on the page o - - - o -- € IF those words appear on the page, before the place that you want to start Copying . . . Repeat FIND -- Hold-down the CMD key, and Press the G key.. -- € IF you Pass the place where you want to Start Copying . . . Hold-down CMD, and Press B -- to go Back UP, to the place you want to start copying.. -- o - - - o A-3 -- Press, and Hold-down, the SHIFT key . . . and SLOWLY Repeat-Press the DOWN Direction-arrow key [..Select..] € IF the Down-arrow, stops in the middle of a line . . . Use the Right-arrow key, to hi-Lite to the end of the Last line, that you want to copy . . . You will see the lines of text being hi-lite'd [..The Down-arrow hi-Liting, sometimes Jams.. Use the Right-arrow, a few times -- and then continue with the Down-arrow..] € Stop -- where you want to € IF you go Down Too Far -- use the UP, and LEFT Direction-arrow keys, to remove the hi-Lite A-4 -- Press, and Hold-down the CMD key . . . and Press the C key [..Copy..] . . . the Copy'd email, is now in the Memory [..Use those Same Steps -- to Copy any part of a web-page - or news-group Post - or any other type of Message..] @ Now -- Go to Step B-4, below @---v . . . and continue Those Steps.. o - - - o - - - o @---> Copy ALL of an EMAIL @ IF there are only a Few Addresses on that email . . . B-1 -- Move your cursor, to ANY lit-up email address (.or a URL.).. B-2 -- Press, and Hold-down, the CMD key . . . and Press the A key [..Select-All..] . . . the entire email, will be hi-Lite'd [..Select..] B-3 -- Press, and Hold-down the CMD key . . . and Press the C key . . . the email, is now in the Memory [..Copy..] [..Use these Steps, to Copy an entire Post or entire web-page.. BE Ware -- a Long web-page, might Jammm your Memory.. They must be C+P'd, in pieces..] o - - - o B-4 -- Click-on the "Mail List" button, on the Left menu . . . you are Now back to the email IN List B-5 -- Click on the "Write Message" button . . . you are now on a Blank email screen B-6 -- Cursor-Down, to the text area B-7 -- Press, and Hold-down, the CMD key . . . and Press the V key [..Paste..] . . . the email Copy is now on the screen o - - - o - - - o @---> Now -- The Clean-uP . . . of The Full-Page email Copy C-1 -- Put the cursor in Front of the FIRST line of the Paste'd email (."From", or "Message".) C-2 -- Press, and Hold-down, the SHIFT key € SLOWLY repeat-Press the DOWN Direction-arrow key . . . until ALL of the Addresses, Date, and Subject, and any-other lines -- are hi-Lite'd [.Select.] ...[..Keep the "Subject", if you need it..] . . . the "Header" of the email, is ready to Erase (.Delete.) C-3 -- Hit the DELETE key . . . pOOF-- the Addresses & etc, are Gone - - - o - - - @---> Restore the Copy'd & Mash'd email message C-4 -- Use your Direction-Arrow keys . . . Right, Left, Up, Down . . . and the Space Bar & ENTER (.Return.) key € ...To Restore the spaces between paragraphs & Listing-Lines.. Add spaces between words, if they have closed-together.. C-5 -- Make any changes -- Delete, Add, Correct.. . . . Use Spell-Check.. C-6 -- SEND that email TO Yourself, at a "Fake" address: € add ".xx" -- to the END of any email address, like this: --- . . . YouHere@webtv.net.xx @ Details Here --- http://community-2.webtv.net/hollywoodWOFmap/emailEditQuickFacts/ C-7 -- Repeat the edits & sends -- until you are satisfyed with the Final Edit.. @ Capture & add, any URLs (.email addresses.) that you want in the Text --- http://community-1.webtv.net/hollywoodWOFmap/SendaURL/ o - - - o - - - o @---> Copy ALL of a "Live" Page ...@ email being typed ...@ "respond" to a post, in a news-group ...@ text in any "write" screen, on a web-page D-1 -- Place the Cursor, Anywhere in the Text area D-2 -- Press, and Hold-down, the CMD key . . . and Press the A key [..Select-All..] . . . The Entire page is now hi-Lite'd (.except the Header.) D-3 -- Press, and Hold-down, the CMD key . . . and Press the X key [..Cut..] € The Cut Text, is now in the Memory @ The C key (.copy.) is NOT used here.. D-4 -- Go to the location Where the text is To Be Placed (.To Paste.) € Press, and Hold-down the CMD key . . . and Press the V key [..Paste..] ...@ an email page ...@ "respond" screen, in a news-group ...@ any "write" screen, on a web-page D-5 -- Make any Changes need'd.. @ The END -- of Live Copy [..Cut..] o - - - o - - - o Copy & paste -- from LIVE Text . . . @ Be VERY careful -- with ANY hi-Lite'd Text.. . . . Do-NOT Touch any Keys, after hi-Liting the text -- Except the CMD and X.. IF you Hit ANY Key, or the DELETE Key -- ALL is Lost, Deleted, Vanished, Gone, pOOF..! o - - - o - - - o @---> CUT Text -- from "Live" Typing Move -- words, lines, paragraphs, or a section of a page.. [.."Cut" -- can Only be done on a "Live" typing page -- email being typed, To Send; or the "writing" screen on a web-page..] E-1 -- Use the Direction-Arrow keys . . . to position the Cursor, at the Start-Place of the Text to Copy E-2 -- Press and Hold-down, the SHIFT key E-31 -- Then use the Right and-/-or Down Direction-Arrow Keys . . . to "light-up" (.hi-Lite.) the section of Text to be Copy'd [..Select..] - - - E-3.2 -- IF you want to Copy to the Bottom of that Text page . . . continue with the SHIFT and Down-arrow keys, Slowly to the bottom € STOP hi-Liting -- Before the LAST Line.. . . . OR -- All hi-Liting will go blank A-3.3 -- On the Second from Last Line € Press, and Hold-down the SHIFT key, and SLOWLY repeat-Press the RIGHT Direction-arrow key . . . Slowly continue the Hits (.Press's.) on the Right-arrow key -- until the LAST letter or symbol, in the Last Line of the email, is hi-Lite'd.. @---> IF you Try to hi-Lite, PAST the Last letter-symbol, or Past the Last Line of the email -- ALL hi-Liting will be erased, Lost.. (..Then -- you have to Start-Over, hi-Liting..) - - - E-4 -- Press, and Hold-down, the CMD key . . . and Press the X key [..Cut..] . . . The hi-Lite'd section of Text, will disappear -- into the Memory @ do NOT try to use the C key here (.copy.) . . . IT will Not work E-5 -- Move the cursor to the place where the "Cut" is to be placed (.To Paste.) € Hit the ENTER (.Return.) key, Twice . . . To open a space E-6 -- Move the cursor to the second blank line E-7 -- Press, and Hold-down, the CMD kay . . . and Press the V key [..Paste..] € The "Cut" section of Text, is now moved E-8 -- Do any clean-up, and editing need'd @ The END -- of Cut & Paste o - - - o - - - o @---> SAVE Your Work DONT Forget to SAVE your work -- often -- (.From disconnect Bugs.).. And review-/-edit the text.. With "Bounce--Edit".. @ Address the email TO Your email address @ AND, on the "Cc" line -- repeat YOUR email address @ Add ".xx " to your TO e-address: --- . . . As HERE, in This Section of text lines.. - This will "hold" the "blank lines", instead of all run-together text.. - TEST this.. Do a copy & paste of only =this= section..
